Design and Prototyping
In partnership with our clients and procurement group, our engineering project managers can turn your design drawings or samples, into manufactured products.
Data can be received electronically or more traditionally, through hard copy. Prototypes can then be produced with the minimum of delay and with a guarantee of manufacturability.
At SIC this is a consultative process and an assembly being built for the first time is rigorously checked and evaluated for the application feasibility in which it will be used and often our team will find time, cost or quality enhancing alternatives during this process. We’ll pass such insights on to our customers, who can then make an informed choice about their products’ manufacture.
All prototypes or samples are dispatched with either an Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) or a Parts Submission Warrant (PSW) depending on the specific requirements of the customer and the market sector they are in. We do this so that we complete the customer feedback loop prior to sign off for manufacturing.
This requirement, in addition to our ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, UL, NICEIC and IPC accreditation’s, is observed whether we are dealing with wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, control boxes or panel wiring.
